Zorro GPS Nav Software Debuts on the iPhone
China-based mobile navigation developer Zorro GPS has started the sale of its navigation software ZorroGPS Pro on iTunes just a few days ago.

The company, headed by French CEO Eric Mergy, is heavily relying on NAVTEQ map attributes as well as real-time and static third party contents such as Google & Bing local search, hotel booking, weather, satellite imagery, speedcam data… As a result it offers a functionality rich turn-by-turn navigation system; it however has a slightly crowded interface on a 3.5-inch device.

The software package costs €49.99 with Western Europe maps (12 countries) or €29.99 for a single country. Russia, Brazil or India cost $39.99 and the USA package is $39.99 ($44.99 with Canada).

The software will also be available for the iPad.
