Zoombak launches U.S. TV Ad campaign

GPS tracking company wants to raise brand awareness and educate consumers

Zoombak, a subsidiary of Liberty Media, this week announced the launch of a U.S. wide, multi-million dollar TV advertising campaign to build brand awareness and educate consumers on the benefits of its Personal GPS Locators. The campaign, titled “Imagine”, demonstrates the various uses of its Zoombak Locators, including keeping track of teen drivers, recovering stolen vehicles, and finding lost pets.

“As the industry leader, it is up to Zoombak to begin building awareness of the Personal GPS Locator category,” said Simon Buckingham, CEO of Zoombak. “A nationwide, multi-million dollar television campaign was deemed the most effective and efficient way to achieve consumer awareness and provide retail support.”

The “Imagine” campaign creative concept was created by Gotham Inc. and directed by Sam Crawford of Zoo Films, a director known for his work with Sports Illustrated, Capital One and the Atlanta Hawks. Media strategy and buying services were provided by OMD .

in a separate news Zombak also announced that its Universal A-GPS Locator, has been awarded Honoree status at the CES Innovations 2009 Design and Engineering Awards.
