Urgent.ly Hires Tom Sexton as VP of Strategic Sales
Roadside assistance startup Urgent.ly announced today the appointment of Tom Sexton as Vice President of Strategic Sales.

Sexton brings to the company a large experience in developing business with companies in the automotive and navigation industry. He joined real-time traffic vendor INRIX at its inception and built major business relationships with automotive and media companies including BMW, Volkswagen Group, Ford, Toyota, Clear Channel, The Weather Company, BBC, AOL Time Warner, Microsoft, Garmin, O2, and Vodafone. More recently he was director of Business development at deCarta until their acquisition by Uber earlier this year.

urgent.ly recently announced a $7 million Series A funding round. The company delivers roadside assistance to drivers at their moment of need without a subscription or membership fee. More than five million drivers have direct access to Urgent.ly through its native and mobile web platforms and partnerships with AT&T Drive, Cost2Drive, Dash, DriversEd.com, MapQuest, Mojio, ParkWhiz, TollSmart, Zendrive, Zubie, and others.
