ParkMe Licenses Data to Bing
Real-time parking information provider ParkMe has announced it will provide parking information to Microsoft’s Bing.

ParkMe’s information offers to find nearby parking, check real time availability, and pre-pay for parking spaces across the globe. Additionally, ParkMe displays locations and parking information such as rates, hours of operation, occupancy, entry points and payment types.

ParkMe database includes more than 30,000 worldwide locations in more than 1,800 cities and 40 countries (wh-ith a high concentration of the offer in North America and Western Europe).

Based in Santa Monica, California, the start-up has received funding from venture capital firms including Fontinalis Partners, IDG Ventures and Angeleno Group.

“By delivering ParkMe’s information into the Bing search experience, we aim to make it easier for people to get things done in the real-world faster,” commented Stefan Weitz, Senior Director at Bing.
