Nokia 5230: low cost touch screen & A-GPS
Nokia announced yesterday a new GPS-enabled, touch screen Smartphone to be available during the last quarter of the year and selling unsubsidized below €200 (including taxes), its cheapest device in this category thus far.

This entry-level GPS phone has a 3.2-inch touch screen, a 2 mega pixels camera, Bluetooth and a quadband GSM and HSDPA radio. There is no Wi-Fi. The operating system is Symbian S60 fifth edition.

In Europe this phone is likely to be sold below €50 in packs subsidized by wireless operators therefore lowering the barrier for navigation and location-based services.
