Intersec CEO “Our Revenue Is up 70% This Year“ (Podcast)

Intersec, the French provider of passive geo-location platforms for wireless operators now counts 120 employees; almost a third of these were hired this year. The revenue is forecast to be €13 million this year, meaning 70% growth compare to last year. The revenue breakdown is around half in Europe, 30 plus percent in developing countries and the 15 percent remaining in the Americas.

Intersec customers include Telefonica, Orange, Portugal Telecom and SFR.

During our 18 minutes discussion he talked openly about his company, his technology and his customers. He explained us his ambitions for the United States where the company has opened an office this year. We talked a lot about case studies around location-based advertising and geo-marketing as well as about privacy.
