Intermap hires automotive veteran as European VP
Intermap Technologies, a geospatial market company building highly accurate digital elevation datasets, has hired Adam Denman as vice president of strategic business development Europe. The choice of this automotive veteran is clearly in line with the strategy of the company looking at selling its map data to the automotive market for navigation and ADAS applications.

Denman most recently served as the director of business development at automotive navigation system and telematics supplier Magneti Marelli (2004-2008), where he negotiated new strategic relationships with foreign partners. He also served as the vice president of strategic marketing at NAVTEQ (2003-2004), where he helped define the digital map database provider’s automotive strategy. Denman has also held leadership positions at Johnson Controls (2002-2003) and Visteon Corporation (1999-2001).

Denman has a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering and business studies from the University of Bristol (1980). He currently resides in Paris, France.
