GPS Business News had the opportunity to speak with Barbara Belvisi, co-founder of the Hardware Club. The organisation selects promising hardware startup and help them to overcome the key challenges of developing hardware products: manufacturing and distribution.

The Hardware Club is free for its members; furthermore, the Club also invests in some of the member startups at seed stage.

Born one year ago, the community already comprises more than 100 companies in 20 countries. The Club has offices in Paris, San Francisco and Taipei.

The Club was recently joined by Pascal Cagni as Chairman. Cagni, former vice president EMEA at Apple (2001-2012) is currently the founder of London-based venture capital firm C4 Ventures.

The Hardware Club is also a sponsor of the Auto App Challenge, the startup competition that is ran by GPS Business Newsand currently seeking candidates for its 2016 edition (learn more: http://www.autoappchallenge.com).
