HARMAN Names Phillip Eyler President of Infotainment Division
HARMAN International named Phillip Eyler as Executive Vice President and President, Infotainment, with immediate effect.

This appointment follows the departure of Sachin Lawande from the job as he took the helm at Visteon (read here).

In his new role, Eyler will lead the nearly $3 billion Infotainment division of HARMAN which develops integrated systems encompassing Augmented Navigation, Telematics, Multimedia, Connected Safety and Cyber Security solutions. He will oversee an organization of 7,500 employees, and will be based at the Company's North America Automotive headquarters in Novi, Michigan.

Eyler's tenure at HARMAN has spanned nearly two decades through leadership roles of increasing responsibility in Infotainment and Audio systems engineering, project management, quality and manufacturing. As Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Automotive Audio, Eyler led sales, marketing, R&D, product engineering, and operations.

Under his leadership during the last four years, HARMAN grew its automotive audio revenue from $650 million to approximately $1 billion, improved profitability, and more than doubled the order backlog.
