u-Nav announces over 4 Million GPS chipsets shipped

u-Nav Microelectronics, a fabless semi conductor company based in Irvine, California, announces over 4 million GPS chipsets shipped since June 2001. u-Nav was founded in January 2001 and specializes in low power and low cost GPS chipset for the navigation and tracking markets. Un-nav clients includes Casio for its Wristwatch Speed Meter, a sport monitoring product for runners. While the company doesn’t disclose its revenue, Since Aug 2006 it has achieved an average of 35% quarter-over-quarter revenue growth.
u-Nav also introduced a few weeks ago a new high sensitivity product called ORION RX2. This single chip GPS offers a high sensitivity (-160dBm) for navigation and tracking purposes in dense urban environment. Monday April 9, 2007
