Wayfinder: navigation in new Sony Ericsson Z780
Sony Ericsson unveiled yesterday a new clamshell mobile phone with integrated aGPS. Off-board navigation software from Wayfinder is pre-installed on this phone with a free three months trial. It offers maps for over 150 countries and voice guided turn by turn navigation for over 50 countries in 20 languages.

The Z780 also comes with the latest version of Google Maps for Mobile. It is a UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900/2100 and GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 phone that will be available in two colors (Grand Onyx and Amethyst Silver) in selected markets, starting during the second quarter of this year.

After the W760 and the C702 Cyber-shot , the Z780 is the third GPS-enabled phone announced by Sony Ericsson since the beginning of the year (all with Wayfinder software).
