Three months after launching their iPhone application, TomTom is announcing today an update for existing and future customers. Improvements will include advanced lane guidance, free map and speed camera database update, Text-to-speech, iPod controls within the application, and a few other minor changes.

Unfortunately TomTom is not including traffic information in this update. This most demanded service is however offered by many of its competitors: NAVIGON, Gokivo, AT&T Navigator and a few others.
