TomTom said today that Toyota has extended its relationship with the Dutch company to feature the second generation of semi-embedded portable navigation solution in select vehicles. It will be available in Europe in the last quarter of 2009. It is both integrated into the dashboard – with full audio integration with the car speakers - and portable to another car, or to a computer to download map and software updates available through HOME, TomTom’s desktop application.
