TomTom Uses Sierra Wireless Modules in Embedded Nav
Sierra Wireless announced today that its Airprime wireless M2M modules are used by TomTom to bring connectivity to the in-dash systems built by the Dutch navigation supplier for Renault and Mazda.

The navigation solutions of these car makers were announced at the Paris Motor Show in October 2010. The Carminat TomTom LIVE is fitted into Renault Clio, Mégane and Scenic models sold in Europe. TomTom’s connected navigation system will also be offered by Mazda as an option on its new Mazda5 in Europe.
