TomTom Launches PND Customization Service
Dutch PND maker TomTom has launched a new service on its U.S. website to offer customized casing for its Personal Navigation Devices (PND).

Through this new program, individuals can select from hundreds of professional designs, custom artwork and personal photos that will be printed directly onto their new GPS device. The customization can be made in a couple of minutes (see picture) and TomTom promises printing in 24 hours.

The printing is made by CafePress, a leading provider of custom gifts and printing. This program - that does not add any cost to the device for the consumer - is likely to drive online sales for TomTom during the holiday gift season.
