Today at the Paris motor show TomTom announced three new contracts for its for its automotive department, the Mazda6 and the Fiat Abarth 500 and Abarth Punto.
The new Mazda6 offers TomTom connected navigation on a xx inch touchscreen with HD Traffic, live weather and local search. Sales of the 2013 Mazda6 will begin in Europe later this year.
TomTom had started their partnership with Mazda with the launch on the Mazda5 in 2010.
Fiat Abarth 500 and Abarth Punto
The small sport cars of Fiat, Abarth 500 and Abarth Punto can be fitted with navigation through a semi integrated Blue&Me TomTom Live Personal Navigation Device (PND).
The live services integrate HD Traffic, mobile speed cameras warning as well as local search using TomTom Places and 5 day weather forecast for locations across Europe.
The device that features a 4.3 touchscreen can also be operated through dedicated buttons on steering wheel.
