Sony Ericsson embeds Wayfinder and Google Maps in GPS phone
Unveiled today at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the Sony Ericsson W760 features a built-in GPS, the Wayfinder navigation solution and Google Maps for local mobile search.

While Google Maps is free, the Wayfinder application requires a subscription (Wayfinder Navigator is usually $99 per year). Additionally, the phone features Tracker, a free application for fitness and sport monitoring that tells the user how fast, how long and how far it has practized its favorite activity.

The Sony Ericsson W760 has a built in 3.2 megapixel camera. It is a UMTS/HSDPA 850/19002100 and GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 phone that will be available in selected markets from Q2 2008.
