Sony Ericsson Selects TCS for Navigation
TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS), today announced that they will be powering the turn-by-turn navigation on the new Sony Ericsson Aspen smartphone. The Aspen is the first Windows Mobile device to leverage the new partnership between Sony Ericsson and TCS, said the company in a press release.

Gokivo Navigator, a server-based navigation software, will be available for free to all Sony Ericsson Aspen users on a trial basis for the first 30 days. Once the trial period ends, users will have several options to continue using Gokivo Navigator.

Gokivo was initially a product from Networks in Motion (NIM), a company that was recently acquired by TCS. This agreement with Sony Ericsson is the first turn-by-turn navigation customer for TCS/NIM outside of the United States.
