SVOX TTS adds Turkish voice, totals 21 languages
Swiss provider of embedded speech solutions SVOX this week announced availability of Turkish language across the range of its text-to-speech (TTS) products, according to company`s CTO Marcel Riedi. The addition of a Turkish male voice brings the total number of languages in SVOX portfolio to 21 and the number of voices to 28.

Atakan Bayritug, Sales Manager Mobile, notices the increasing importance of the Turkish market: “We see growing demand among our customers for the Turkish language and I am glad that SVOX can now offer it,” he said.

SVOX’s voice portfolio includes Cantonese and Mandarin, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, US and UK English, European and Canadian French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, European and Mexican Spanish, Swedish and Turkish. Arabic, Finnish and Greek are currently under development.
