RC3 GPS: First Polar Integrated GPS Watch
Sport and Fitness device provider Polar has introduced this month their first GPS-embedded training watch, the Polar RC3 GPS. Weighing only 58g and measuring just 1,37cm in depth, the device is one of the lightest and slimmest integrated GPS devices on the market.

Polar uses a SiRFstar IV GPS chipset with a 250 mAH Li-Pol battery that is said to provide 12 hours of operation.

the device comes with (€280) or without a heart rate monitor (€220). It can be also connected to the s3 stride sensor for running or the CS speed and cadence sensor for cycling.

In comparison the Garmin Forerunner 210 costs €249 including the heart rate monitor, weight 52 grams and its Lithium-ion battery lasts 8 hours.
