This handset, based on the Java operating system has GPS and compass. The software available on the platform includes geotagging, routing and mapping as well as pedometer and GPS tracker. The cell phone has its own app store developed by PUMA and Sagem Wireless, among the first downloadable applications will be European city guides, said a Sagem representative at the Mobile World Congress.. Last but no least, the PUMA PHONE has solar cells integrated on the back panel, enabling to charge its battery under the sun. "Just as PUMA is unlike any other sportlifestyle company out there, the PUMA PHONE is unlike any mobile phone on the market," said Jochen Zeitz, CEO of PUMA. "We want to engage with our community in a way that is consistent with everything PUMA stands for. Blending together the influences of sport, lifestyle and fashion, the PUMA PHONE reflects the joy, spontaneity and individuality that the PUMA brand is known for." Thursday February 25, 2010
