Orange, Telmap Launches Freemium Mobile Nav in France
Telmap announced this week the launch of Orange Maps V2 at Orange France, a free navigation application with optional premium features. Orange Maps navigation will be included on all GPS-enabled devices including iPhone as part of all Origami tariff plans that come with data packages.

Orange Maps navigation includes coverage of 26 European countries using NAVTEQ Maps and several local services including: business listings (provided by 118 712), Champérard fine dining guide as well as Vélib bicycle stations in Paris.

Orange subscribers will also be able to purchase the full Orange Maps option, offering premium functionalities and content such as: speed cameras alerts (Wikango), parking information (around Paris), gas prices in France and real-time traffic information. The premium option costs €5 per month and is billed directly by Orange to its subscribers.
