Nokia sold 1.5M N95 GPS phones in Q2 2007

Nokia reported its financial results for the second quarter today. “Volumes of the high-end Nokia N95 were approximately 1.5 million units during the quarter” said the press release. The device is now available in almost all markets, including the United States and China. The N95 has a suggested retail price of US$750.

This device includes the Nokia Maps application with Tele Atlas map data. These sales figures explains the satisfaction of Tele Atlas' CFO about Nokia during its financial results conference call this week. (read our article here)
