Nokia’s HERE Drive+ & Transit Come to All Win Phone 8 Devices
HERE, the Location business of Nokia has announced yesterday the availability of their hybrid (on and off-board) GPS navigation software Drive+ for third party Windows Phone 8 smartphones.

Thus far the software was only available to non-Nokia phones as a beta version.

It is available at no charge in the Windows Phone Store in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, UK, and US with in-app upgrade for a global navigation license for €15.49.

The latest version of Drive+ offers a special feature for daily commuters. My Commute informs the driver of the best route and the expected arrival time at a glance on the Live Tile (home screen of Windows Phone). My Commute is currently available in 26 countries. The user can customize My Commute by setting up multiple commutes.

HERE Transit
HERE Transit, the public transport app of Nokia also comes to third party Windows 8 smartphones. It is available in the Windows Phone Store at no charge in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, UK, and US. It costs €1.99 in the Windows Phone Store in Australia, China, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Russia and UAE.
