Nokia launches Nokia Maps service on Canadian’s Rogers network
Canadian wireless operator Rogers and Nokia have announced this week an agreement where Rogers consumers will have the option to use Nokia Maps service on their Nokia devices.

“Nokia Maps services in Canada are initially available for use on the Nokia N95 8GB”, said the joint press release.

"The Canadian telecom market is going through tremendous change and consumers are increasingly demanding advanced multimedia devices and services," explained Richard White, general manager and head of country operations for Nokia Canada. "Through this agreement with Rogers we are excited to deliver on that need, offering consumers compelling experiences on Nokia's devices delivered over Rogers' wireless high-speed network."

This agreement is the first of this kind in North America where Nokia's market has been plummeting in the recent years.
