Wi-Fi indoor and outdoor positioning provider Navizon is now offering a system to measure pedestrian traffic throughout a target area, both in real time and historically over time.
By installing a single hardware device, Navizon Analytics anonymously detects and counts the number of mobile devices in an area by sensing the Wi-Fi signals transmitted.
Pricing for the system starts at $49 per node per month plus a $60 one-time setup.
This solution is a by-product of Navizon indoor triangulation system launched last year (read here).
