Nav N Go selects Loquendo’s text to speech technology
Hungary-based navigation software editor Nav N Go announced yesterday it has selected Loquendo, a provider of speech technology to power its navigation software.
The Loquendo TTS Automotive Solution, in a wide choice of languages and voices, combines high quality, pre-recorded prompts – for giving directions and instructions – with clear and expressive text to speech - for reading dynamic data such as personal messages, news and TMC, etc. Loquendo is a 100 employees company, based out of Turin, Italy, specializing in text to speech and automatic speech recognition technologies. It was created in 2001 as a spin-off of Telecom Italia Research Lab and is still fully owned by Telecom Italia Group. Learn more...
