NNG Partners with Chinese Mapmaker eMapgo
Navigation software provider NNG, (formerly Nav N Go) announced on Tuesday it has entered a cooperation with eMapgo, a privately held company that supplies navigable map data for China.

EMG’s mapping solution covers 4.4 million km drivable road networks of the country, enabling navigation to 1.2 million villages in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau. Point addressing for over 100 cities, 3D landmarks and junction views are also part of the database of eMapgo.

NNG recently announced the iGO primo China edition, the localized version of its premium software solution, with China-specific features such as simplified Chinese language support, handwriting recognition, PinYin input and Chinese Text-to-Speech.

“The introduction of iGO Navigation software into China’s automotive market has been attracting a lot of interest. Combining NNG LLC’s experience in the international market and EMG’s innovative map data creates a strong partnership and will bring the most advanced solution to China’s rapidly developing navigation market,” says Kevin Wang, Chairman of Beijing DMG Infotek Co., Ltd, the exclusive seller of EMG map data.
