NDrive ships iPhone nav app with oblique aerial imagery
Portuguese mobile navigation supplier NDrive released today NDrive London in the iPhone app store, a new navigation application that includes oblique aerial imagery for the British capital city center and is available for £5.99.
NDrive offers three navigation modes: auto (fastest and shortest), pedestrian, and adventure. The last mode is working completely off the road network which has a real interest for pedestrians that can orientate themselves with the aerial imagery. NDrive stated that more cities will become available in the weeks ahead. The oblique imagery is from Norwegian firm Blom and the map data is from NAVTEQ. Tuesday November 10, 2009
