NAVTEQ enhances Venezuelan map database
NAVTEQ today announced several enhancements in its map database for Venezuela with its Point Addressing product and visual content for the capital city Caracas.

NAVTEQ Point Addressing product improves the accuracy of the addresses in the map database especially for countries where addressing does not follow a regular pattern, or in some cases where addressing is based simply on a set of building names. NAVTEQ provides Point Addressing in the metropolitan areas of Baruta, Chacao, El Hatillo, Libertador and Sucre in the Provinces of Miranda and Distrito Federal.

NAVTEQ visual content for Venezuela is made of 3D Landmarks and 3D City Models content for the capital city Caracas.

In addition to the Venezuela map, NAVTEQ's South America coverage includes maps for Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Chile.
