NAVIGON free iPhone App Gets to Austria, Poland, Hungary and the Netherlands
At the IFA trade show in Berlin, NAVIGON said it is expanding the “NAVIGON Select” free iPhone application to new markets across Europe. NAVIGON Select is a stripped down version of the iPhone app of the German developer that can be enhanced with various optional, paid add-on packages via in-app purchases.

NAVIGON select is available to customers of Deutsche Telekom and its partners, including mobilcom-debitel (Germany), T-Mobile Austria, Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa (Poland), Magyar Telekom (Hungary) and T-Mobile Nederland.

“Following the successful cooperation with Telekom Deutschland, we have now established the business model in other countries,” says Gerhard Mayr, Vice President World-Wide Mobile Phone Business at NAVIGON. “This means that we can make our innovative navigation app available to even more people, offering customers the opportunity to put together their personal iPhone navigation package according to their individual needs.”

NAVIGON is also expanding this business model to other platforms: in partnership with Telekom Deutschland the NAVIGON select Telekom Edition is available free of charge in Android Market since the beginning of September.
