Multimap Renews Contract With deCarta
Geospatial platform supplier deCarta announced yesterday that Multimap, a wholly owned subsidiary of Microsoft, has renewed its contract for the use of deCarta’s Drill Down Server as its core underlying platform to provide scalable mapping and driving directions services. Multimap has been working with deCarta since 2007.

Multimap attracts over 10 million unique users, registers more than 190 million page impressions every month, and is one of the UK's most visited websites. The British company was bought by Microsoft in December 2007 for $50 million; it is now a part of the Bing team in the Online Services Group.
