Mio debuts connected PND in Taiwan with wireless operator
Mio yesterday officially launched the Mio Moov 380, its first Personal navigation Device (PND) with built-in SIM-card. The launch was made in partnership with Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET), a Taiwanese telecoms operator. The Moov 380 is now available in Taiwan, and the unit price is NT$ 12,500 (US$390). The market strategy, price and available time for other areas have not been confirmed yet.

The Moov 380 is being launched with FET’s “GPS Info go” service package, With this package, users will only need to pay NT$ 99 (US$3) per month to get access to a full range of information including: real-time points-of-interest, traffic information, traffic information with real time photos, flight schedules, parking information, etc…
