Mio Unveils Cycle GPS Mio Cyclo
Taiwanese GPS maker Mio will officially unveil next week at the German Sport trade fair ISPO in Munich a new device range dedicated to cycles. The Mio Cyclo devices feature a 3-inch color touchscreen in a waterproof IPX7 casing.

The menu offers large icons and is said to be very simple and intuitive to use. The device has regional cyle routes and cycle-related POIs onboard.

The Cyclo 300 is made for fun cycling while the Cyclo 305 is for serious sport as it connects to a heart monitor, a cadence monitor and a wheel sensor. While Mio is not detailing it it is likely connecting via ANT+ to these sensors.

Mio has not yet unveiled the price and the date of availability of these products. For Mio it is however the first foray into sport gears. This announcement came only two weeks after its sister company Magellan announced its first sport GPS watch (read here).
