Masternaut Gets New CEO, Chairman and Exec Team

Last week leading European commercial telematics provider Masternaut announced the appointment of Martin Hiscox as Group chairman and chief executive officer. Martin Hiscox succeeds to Bill Henry who was CEO since April 2010.

Hiscox previously served on the Masternaut board for two years, working closely with the senior management team. His appointment comes at the time of a full reshuffle of the executive team at Masternaut; new appointments include:
- Steve Towe, as European managing director
- Paul Bosson as Chief Financial Officer
-,Alex Rothwell as Chief Technology Officer (formerly with TomTom)
- Eugene Sweeney as director of operations.

Hiscox has more than 25 years' industry experience working with B2B software and technology companies . Prior to joining Masternaut, Martin spent five years as vice chairman of the board and seven years as president of international operations for RedPrairie, a US-headquartered supply-chain, workforce and distribution software specialist.

Masternaut currently employs over 500 people and supplies services to more than 10,000 customers with more than 250,000 assets, vehicles and people tracked with their solution. Masternaut is owned by private equity firm Francisco Partners. The equity firm had in the past invested in RedPrairie.
