Location Labs (formerly Wavemarket) this week announced that 2010 was a record year. The company, that offers family finders to a range of American wireless carriers as well as location aggregation services across North American carriers, achieved 200% growth in revenue in 2010 with profits growing 700%, and finished the year cash flow positive.

In its security and family finder services, the company announced a paying subscriber growth rate of more than 1000%. The company performs nearly 1million locates per day, for its mobile safety and security customers, sending out thousands of alerts to parents assuring them that a child made it to school on time or arrived home safely before curfew.

The company's geo-fencing platform, that leverage agreements with the four leading US carriers has processed over 400 million location transactions in 2010.
