LBS industry gathers in Mountain View on Nov 30
Over 70 top representatives from the GPS and location-based services industry are expected to gather in Mountain View for an evening of networking on November 30.

Organized by GPS Business News, and sponsored by geospatial platform provider deCarta, the goal of this event is to offer quality time to share ideas, business cards and a few drinks among industry executives.

“This is our second event in the Silicon Valley and this year again LBS heavyweights, new-born start-ups, analysts and VCs/Business Angels have registered. Our online networking group on LinkedIn is very vibrant with 2,500 members, so this type of event was a logical step for us,” explained Ludovic Privat, editor and co-founder of GPSBusinessNews.com. “Moving forward we have plans for the same type of event in other locations in the United States and in Europe: Boston, London, Amsterdam and Berlin are high in our priority list”.

The attendee list already includes representatives from Alpine, Canalys, deCarta, Google, InfoUSA, Intermap, Intrynsic, Jasper Wireless, MapQuest, MiTAC/Magellan, NAVTEQ, Networks In Motion, Nokia, Norwest Venture Partners, Nuance, Palm, SiRF/CSR, Strategy Analytics, Tele Atlas, TeleNav, UC Berkeley (CCIT), WCities, Yahoo and many others.

More details about this event can be found here.
