Mobile software solutions provider Intrinsyc announced today the availability of its Destinator 9, its turn-by-turn navigation application for the Apple iPhone in North America.

A few highlights of the application include real-time traffic updates (with INRIX data), highway junction views, integrated iPod controls, text-to-speech (enhanced with NAVTEQ Voice), Google Local Search and live weather.

Destinator 9 is available as a 30 day free trial, then a lifetime turn-by-turn navigation subscription is offered for $79.99 and includes on board maps of North America as well as real-time traffic for one year. An introductory price of $59.99 including one year of real-time traffic service is also available if purchased within the first 10 days.
