Interview with R. Acker CEO, Aha Mobile
Last week at the Metaplaces conference in San Jose, California, GPS Business News met with Robert Acker, CEO at Aha Mobile a start-up recently funded by venture capital firm Venrock .

Aha Mobile is a commuter-focused iPhone application which launched recently in the United States. The innovation of Aha is to offer a peer to peer voice channel to inform drivers about their commute. On the top of vocal INRIX traffic information feeds, users can receive and create 15 seconds voice notes (“Shouts”) about traffic conditions on the road in front of them as well as broadcast their mood. The application creates a driver community in the same way the CB radio was used by motorists in the seventies and early eighties in the US.
