INRIX To Debut Brazilian Traffic Service in Summer 2012
U.S. and European traffic provider INRIX is expanding to Brazil through a partnership with MapLink, a local supplier of traffic and location-based services.

INRIX will integrate MapLink's data for more than 10,000km of highways, city streets and local roads into its traffic intelligence platform.

"Sao Paulo, Rio and other major cities throughout Brazil have some of the worst traffic congestion in the world," said Frederico Hohagen, Founder and Sales Director of MapLink.

"The combination of MapLink data and Web services domestically with INRIX's industry leading analytics will ensure we have the highest quality traffic information available to help industry and government address this taxing issue."
