The iPhone touch interface allows to interact with the Earth application, for example tilting the screen will tilt the view in Google Earth. Google has also integrated the My Location feature, so with a touch of a button, users can fly to where they are in the real world thanks to a combination of cell-id, Wifi and GPS positioning technologies. In addition, Over eight million geo-tagged Panoramio pictures are available via the Google Earth interface.
The iPhone is the first mobile device to have a Google Earth application. So far Google Earth has been downloaded 400 million times on computers said Google yesterday.
