GloNav to open an office in Asia Pacific
GloNav Inc., a US-based fabless semiconductor company developing GPS solutions, today announced the opening of its Taiwan office to support cellular handset, personal navigation device (PND) and other consumer electronics makers in the Asia Pacific regions. Jeff Gray, vice president, Asia Pacific operations for GloNav, will head the newly opened Taiwan office.

“Our local support capability will enable our customers to rapidly launch new products using our GPS solutions”, said Gray.

Earlier this year, GloNav announced distribution agreements with Ubitrotech Co., Ltd. in Korea, CoAsia Microelectronics Corporation in Taiwan and Silicon Plaza in China.
