Garmin slashes prices in the UK

Garmin announced today that it is cutting the price of two of its best-selling Portable Navigation Devices, the nüvi 200 and 250 models by more than 12 per cent. It is also reducing the price of the zumo, its dual sat-nav for motorbikers and motorists.

The nüvi 200 will be slashed from its previous Recommended Retail Price (RRP) of £169.99 to £149.99 and the nüvi 250 will now cost RRP £179.99, reduced from £199.99. The nüvi 200 comes with full UK and Ireland mapping whilst the 250 includes Europe as well.

The zumo 550 which has European mapping has been reduced from an RRP of £499.99 to £449.99. The zumo 500D which has regional mapping with European mapping on DVD will now cost £349.99, down from £399.99. The zumo 400 has been reduced from an RRP of £349.99 to £299.99.
