The high end nüvi 765 has a 4.3 inch display and the latest Garmin technologies such as ecoRoute, lane assist and junction view, 3-D city views, GPS HotFix, photo navigation, Bluetooth and MP3 support.
The nüvi 765 is expected to be available as the Citroën C3 Picasso is launched across Europe. Garmin expects availability of the nüvi 765 at Citroën dealers starting in March. The companies anticipate integrating Garmin devices with other Peugeots and Citroën models later this year.
In a separate news release, Garmin also announced an extension of its two-year partnership with MINI. This renewed contract includes a new accessory mount that fits the interior of all left and right hand drive MINI’s manufactured after 2006. Attached to this mount is the entry level nüvi 255 with a unique SD card containing specially designed MINI content (splash screen, vehicle icons, wallpapers and an exhaustive list of MINI dealer networks in Europe).
Garmin’s navigation system will be available in MINI’s worldwide, from MINI approved dealers, with first availability in Europe.
