Former Sony Europe President joins Wayfinder's board

Chris Deering is nominated to become a member of the board of Wayfinder Systems at the up-coming annual general meeting on May 22nd, 2007.

"As the CEO of Wayfinder Systems I am proud and pleased that Chris Deering has accepted to take a board member role in helping shape the future of Wayfinder Systems", says Magnus Nilsson, CEO of Wayfinder Systems.

Chris Deering was the founding President of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) (1995-2003) and Chairman (2004-2005). He was also President of Sony Europe (2004-2005). Chris and his team championed the success of PlayStation over ten years, and developed the brand into one of the strongest franchises in European entertainment software history, with over one billion software discs sold. In his roles at SCEE and Sony Europe, Chris collaborated closely with the Board of Sony Ericsson and with many Mobile Operators.
