Ford: 1m Vehicles with SYNC AppLink
Ford last week announced in the United States to have reached 1 million cars equipped with SYNC AppLink a software technology that gives drivers voice control of smartphone apps while driving.

First introduced for the Ford Fiesta in late 2010, SYNC AppLink has since launched on several models in Ford’s product range including Mustang, F-150 and Expedition.  Additionally, the new 2013 C-MAX Hybrid SE, and Fusion S and SE models will feature SYNC AppLink availability.

Thus far 11 apps have been certified by Ford to work with AppLink (see picture for a list).

AppLink is expected to become available in Europe in 2013.
