Family Location Tracker Life360 Set to Reach 25m Users by Year End
Life360, the U.S.-based location tracking app for families, today announced it will reach 25 million registered users on Android and iPhone platforms by the end of the year.

Since the app launched in 2009, more than 150 billion location points have been shared. The monthly count is currently around 6.5 Billion location points.

“Places“ & Crime Data
Life360 has just introduced a new geo-fencing feature called "Places." It allows users to designate locations on the map (like Home, work, or school) and receive an alert every time a family member arrives at those designated locations.

Life360 has also integrated crime data into its map. It shows all reported crime data in a user's neighborhood and allows users to tap the screen to see more information about the crime, where it occurred and when. Crime data can be turned on or off at convenience.
