Eniro, the leading Yellow pages company in the Nordic market has released this month their new iPad application for Norway (Gulesider.no), Sweden (Eniro.se) and Denmark (Krak.dk) through the Apple app store. These iPad apps have made it into the number 1 spot for Norway and Sweden.
Eniro is using mMap SDK from 3D mapping technology provider myVR Software to render the 2D map, 360 StreetView, and 360 Panorama views.
The SDK supports 2D maps, 3D maps, GigaPixel images, 360 StreeView, 360 Panoramas, and PointClouds combined with POI's/Overlays, etc.
The SDK has a physics engine support for snow, rain, and sleet so their customer can tie in weather feeds to their apps and visualize 360 images with a representation of the local weather condition.
