Coyote Partners with Garmin, Intros Service in 12 New Countries
Speedcam warning vendor Coyote System has announced today at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona a strategic partnership with Garmin and the release of its iPhone app iCoyote in 12 new additional countries.

The partnership with Garmin is related to the co-development of a mobile application that would jointly offer NAVIGON’s mobile navigation software and the Coyote community-based speedcam warning system to drivers in Germany and Austria.

iCoyote will be available on the Apple App Store in Czech Republic, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Sweden, in the coming days, pending Apple’s approval. In these countries iCoyote will be free for a limited time period - the subscription cost around €50 per year. These new markets add to Coyote’s established presence in France, Benelux, Italy and Spain.

“Within the next few days we will have launched our service in the vast majority of European countries,“ said Serge Bussat, Executive Vice President in charge of International and Partnerships at Coyote System.

“We are currently fine tuning our plans for Germany and the United Kingdom. We expect to launch our service in these markets before the end of the year to complete our European footprint.“

Coyote currently claims 1.5 million paying users in its community.
