Broadcom ships 30mm2 GPS receiver
Semiconductor manufacturer Broadcom announced this week its next generation single chip GPS solution for mobile devices. Broadcom does not deliver much detail about this new chipset except its small form factor: less than 30 mm2 of board space.
The new BCM4751 GPS receiver solution and associated software are now shipping in production handsets and will be demonstrated at next week's 2010 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. GPS Business News will provide more information about this solution from the ground floor. Wednesday February 10, 2010
